Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Microcomsolution, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality. However, we understand that business needs change. This policy clarifies our refund and cancellation terms for our various services.

1. Web & AI Development Projects (Fixed Cost)

Due to the custom nature of software development, refunds are structured as follows:

  • Initial Deposit: The kickoff deposit (typically 30-50%) is non-refundable. This fee covers the allocation of resources, initial discovery, and project setup.
  • Milestone Payments: Once a milestone (e.g., UI Design Approval, Beta Release) is delivered and approved by the client, the payment for that milestone is non-refundable.
  • Project Cancellation: If a client cancels the project mid-development, they are liable for all work completed up to the cancellation date. Any unearned portion of a prepaid milestone may be refunded at our discretion.

2. IT Support & Retainers (Recurring)

  • Monthly Plans: Support retainers are billed in advance. You may cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice. No refunds are provided for partial months or unused support hours..
  • Annual Plans: Cancellations of annual contracts will result in a refund of the remaining full months, minus an early termination fee equivalent to one month of service.

3. Digital Products & Licenses

  • Third-Party Costs: Expenses incurred on your behalf (e.g., domain names, SSL certificates, cloud server fees, premium plugin licenses) are non-refundable.
  • Source Code: Once source code or custom AI model weights have been delivered to you, no refunds can be issued due to the irreversible transfer of Intellectual Property (IP).

4. Warranty & Fixes

We stand by our code. Bug-Free Warranty on all development projects. Any bugs or errors reported during this period will be fixed at no additional cost. This warranty does not cover issues caused by third-party updates or client modifications.
